This policy explains what personal information we collect on risetofti.com, why we collect it, who handles it, and your rights. If anything is unclear, email us at privacy@risetofti.com.
Who we are
Tofti Inc. is a company based in Quebec, Canada: 2020 Trans-Canada Route, Suite 107, Dorval, Quebec H9P 2N4.
Our privacy officer is Chris Meyers, CEO. He is responsible for protecting personal information at Tofti. Contact: privacy@risetofti.com. For other legal questions: legal@risetofti.com.
What we collect
Through the waitlist form:
- your work email address;
- the language you used on the site;
- whether you ticked the box agreeing to receive emails from us.
Automatically, when you visit: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps server logs. These record your IP address, your browser type, the pages you view, and the time of each visit.
That’s all. We don’t ask for your name, phone number or payment details on this site.
Joining the waitlist is optional. If you’d rather not give us your email, you can still browse the whole site. We just won’t be able to tell you when Tofti launches.
Why we use it
- To add you to our waitlist and tell you about Tofti’s launch and early access.
- To send you marketing emails, but only if you agreed.
- To keep the site working, secure and free of spam.
We use your information only for these purposes.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn’t use cookies or similar tools for analytics, advertising or tracking. Nothing on it identifies, locates or profiles you.
If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we’ll update this policy first. We’ll also ask your permission on the site before they run. They will stay off unless you turn them on.
Emails
When you join the waitlist, we send you one email asking you to confirm. You’re only added once you confirm.
We send marketing emails only with your express consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by writing to privacy@risetofti.com.
Who handles your information
At Tofti, only the people who run our waitlist and marketing can see your information. We also use these service providers. Each may use your information only to provide its service to us.

Outside Quebec
Some of your information is processed outside Quebec:
- Vercel and Cloudflare process it in the United States;
- Zoho stores it in Canada, possibly outside Quebec.
While it is there, it may be subject to the laws of those places, including access by authorities.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist details: until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete them, or we no longer need them. Then we delete them. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so we never email you again.
- Unconfirmed sign-ups: deleted after about 30 days.
- Server logs: kept by our host for up to 30 days, then deleted.
Keeping it safe
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Only the people who need your information can access it. We store it with established providers.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you;
- correct it if it’s wrong or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent, for example by unsubscribing;
- delete it;
- where Quebec law allows it, stop sharing it or remove links to it (de-indexation).
Email privacy@risetofti.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern, please write to our privacy officer first at privacy@risetofti.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to:
- the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (www.cai.gouv.qc.ca), if you’re in Quebec;
- the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (www.priv.gc.ca), elsewhere in Canada.
Our product
This policy covers this website only. Information our customers put into the Tofti product is stored in Canada. That information is governed by the customer’s agreement with us, not by this policy.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn’t meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Visitors outside Canada
If you visit from outside Canada, including the United States, this policy applies to you too. You can use the rights above.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you before it takes effect: by a notice on the site, and by email if you’re on our waitlist.
